At 60 Broadway in Brooklyn, this kitchen was refined rather than reimagined. The existing cabinetry was carefully refinished in S-MATT by Icann Finish, with fixed panels that remained in place sanded and repainted on site, while all cabinet doors were newly built in the shop to ensure consistent proportions, crisp detailing, and a unified appearance throughout.

New custom cabinetry was added to house integrated appliances, including a concealed microwave and built-in ice maker. Updated hardware and lighting brought a sense of polish and ease, and selective flooring work ensured the space flowed naturally from one area to the next.

The result is a kitchen that doesn’t try to impress, but quietly does.
